Navy Blue Wool Crepe Pants

In the continuing quest to add more pants to my wardrobe, I cut into the four yards of navy blue wool crepe that I recently purchased from Fabric Mart.  This was a really wide piece of fabric which allowed me to get not only a pair of pants but also a lined four gore flared skirt and a basic lined sheath dress out of the yardage. This post is about the pants.

I'm wearing these pants with an Issac Mizrahi cardigan purchased from QVC. I've fallen in love with these cardigans and now own an insane amount of them even though I can make a perfectly good one myself.  I deliberately chose the navy wool crepe to go with two new cardigans recently received because aren't they just cheery. Great color to add to dreary winter days!

All of the information in the last post applies to these pants since they were made the exact same way.  The only thing I omitted from that post was that the fabric was pretreated using the Pam Ermy method.  It's quick, does the job and allows me to get right to sewing.  I made these pants Saturday and took the pictures on Sunday afternoon.

Again all pictures are taken by me using the Canon and the tripod. Woohoo!  I seem to know only two poses now that I'm taking my own shots but I'm gonna work on that! *LOL*  Anyway another pair of pants finished and ready to be worn to work.  It was a good sewing weekend...

...as always more later!
